I was on 27th December 1998 in Tasmania, I’m an emerging contemporary artist living in the Cotswolds. Recently, I graduated from Stroud School of Art on the Foundation course with a distinction for my project ‘SHIFT’ combining my fascination for art and yoga. The project has since won two awards for creativity and performing arts from Stroud College and Cheltenham Town Mayor.
Back in 2016 I trained in yoga and became the UK’s youngest qualified yoga instructor and since then I have set up my own business sharing yoga in Schools, improving the mental health of young people, as well as teaching yoga in Prisons as part of a rehabilitation program. I am involved with the APPG ‘yoga in society’ which is shaping how yoga and social prescribing will work in the UK . Recently winning the ‘Princess Diana Award’ for making positive change in my community. www.blissbyrobin.com
Currently I am an artist in residence at Stroud College, where I have studio space and I am evolving my SHIFT work, moving into sculptural pieces. I am also working as a creative marketing director for ACP’s flash mob project and planning the SHIFT tour around the UK.
